How GPE works in partner countries

GPE’s core work in partner countries is to strengthen education sector planning and policy implementation. Through strengthening education systems, GPE seeks to increase equity in education and improve learning, especially in early childhood and basic education.

This brochure explains how GPE supports partner countries by explaining the planning cycle, defining the roles and responsibilities of the various stakeholders in the local education group, and the type of grants GPE provides.

Note: this shorter guide temporarily replaces the more detailed "country-level process guide", which is being revised and will be available shortly.
